Authority and setup review
We look at your USDOT and operating authority, insurance, and carrier paperwork so we know what brokers will ask for before we start.
New MC Authority
Just got your authority? Truck Peak reviews your setup, tells you honestly what to expect with brokers, and helps you find and book loads. Your first dispatched load has no dispatch fee.
New MC Authority
A new authority has no history with brokers, and many brokers set their own requirements for authority age, insurance, and carrier setup. That can limit which loads are available at first, and it varies from broker to broker.
We do not promise that will not happen. What we do is review your authority and paperwork, point you to brokers and load types that are realistic for a newer carrier, and handle the setup and paperwork so you spend less time on hold.

We tell you plainly what is likely to be available to a newer authority and what may have to wait, instead of promising rates or loads.
Carrier packets, W-9, certificate of insurance, and broker onboarding forms are organized and sent so setup does not stall a load.
We search loads that fit your equipment and lanes, negotiate within your minimum, and handle rate confirmations, BOL and POD handoff, and invoice preparation.
Your first successfully booked and dispatched load has no dispatch fee. After that, the fee is 5% of the carrier pay shown on the signed rate confirmation.
Example: on a later load showing $2,500 in total carrier pay, the dispatch fee is $125. We do not take possession of your freight revenue. The broker or factoring company pays you directly.

Common questions
No. Truck Peak is an independent dispatch service, not a motor carrier or broker. You operate under your own authority, and we act as an authorized agent for contracted carriers.
Often yes, but some brokers set minimum authority age or other requirements, and that can limit options early on. We review each operation and set realistic expectations before onboarding.
Registration and authority are handled through FMCSA. FMCSA's own guidance says processing takes several weeks, and insurance and other filings are part of the process. Check FMCSA directly for current steps and fees.
